Rustic Restaurant & Bar is a licensed, independent family owned and family friendly
restaurant & bar in Dunedin, Otago with a very tasty Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu.
We also have a selection of vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free options.
True to the great steak houses of New Zealand, Rustic is not solely about red meat,
Oysters, Calamari, Chicken and Fish all take their place on the menu. 

The Savoy was established in 1910 and has since delighted in the reputation of Dunedin’s grand venue for elegant dining and hosting some of the city’s most cherished events. Its unique historic architecture and perfect location has guaranteed its status as a landmark in Dunedin.
The beautiful venue has hosted a number of memorable events including school balls, weddings and elegant corporate functions.
The Savoy was closed in the late ’80s and obtained considerable refurbishment in the early 90’s whereafter she opened her glorious doors once again to reclaim her fame. 

Today, Rustic Restaurant is proud to continue their family owned restaurant with the Savoy tradition of century-old elegant dining while combining South African flavours, local favourites, generous portions and quality ingredients.
We strive for perfection and your enjoyment in every dish we serve.

It’s not just the menu that delivers style and authenticity. The Savoy boasts with beautiful timber finishes, creative ceilings and antique brass chandeliers that will leave you cocooned in an earthy warmth that screams hearty food and rewarding twist of South African flavours.
